This application is reserved exclusively for active law enforcement officers in good standing of a federal, state, or local law enforcement agency, or a qualified retired law enforcement officer as defined by 18 USC § 926C.

The Hero Network™ is a voluntary nonprofit foundation comprised of federal, state, and local law enforcement officers, establishing a Social Protection Network™ focused on minimizing law enforcement response time to active school shooting incidents.

Upon installation, the app will promptly notify officers of an active school shooting emergency, dispatching alerts to all on-duty and off-duty officers in close proximity to the scene.

The application sends alerts to officers, exhibits a mapped location of the school, provides information on the number of uniformed and plainclothes officers who have acknowledged the alert, and includes a timer from the initial alert.

Integrated into a system that simultaneously contacts the appropriate 911 call center, this app serves as an essential tool for law enforcement personnel during critical situations.

All federal, state, and local law enforcement officers, including certified retirees, are urged to download the app and become part of the Hero Network™ today. Each user must verify their law enforcement status during the signup process, subject to full vetting before app activation takes place.

It is important to note that falsifying being a law enforcement officer carries severe legal consequences equivalent to a felony offense.

Users are advised that continuous use of GPS in the background may substantially reduce battery life.
